Matthew Sigel, head of digital assets research at VanEck, took to X on June 27 to announce that the firm has filed for a Solana ETF with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
VanEck, a prominent issuer of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States, has filed for a new Solana ETF. This makes VanEck the first company in the US to file for a Solana ETF. The filing was made with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and is for a fund called the VanEck Solana Trust
