Criteria for a wallet I would be comfortable recommending to newbies:
1. Max one click install on device
2. Dont need to self host on a separate machine
3. Generates LN address
4. Non-ruggable (no single point of failure/not custodial)
5. Supports NWC
6. No need for command line
Does it exist 🥺

Sounds great. I would currently go for wallet if satoshi or primal ATM. I know this doesn't pass your criteria tho.
Ah yes,
7. No sharing of personal information allowed for any reason to set up wallet
I respect and appreciate what both WOS and P/S are doing
There is no such thing as non-ruggable cause noobs rug themselves when they use a non-custodial wallet 😂
***Not ruggable by third parties (self-rugging is fine)
Your channel partners can also rug you. And if it’s a one click install that means the developer of the wallet chose your channel partner for you.
Dont know how „No need to self host vs. non ruggable/non custodial“ would go together. NWC also requires some hosted component.
Maybe its a sysyphean task.
If it doesnt exist, then I will not feel comfortable recommending without going into tradeoff envelopes at risk of scaring newbies away 😐
Yeah I know … it’s good to remember those criteria.
Having good options banned from app stores in certain countries makes it even harder to recommend wallets.
