I heard an interesting conversation about this, That time on different planets is measured differently. Another side of this conversation, What If bitcoin blocks replaced a traditional 24 hour clock, So instead of time being money, Money became time? 

 Interesting. But I think nakamoto liked the block time of 10 minutes to adapt it perfectly to the size of the earth.
