One way I try to challenge myself (though often fail), is to think about what I'm about to publish. Am I sharing good vibes or will it make someone feel less positive? This is a good filter to put all fresh notes through where applicable. It's super easy to get bummed out on some thing you read here and there because rage algo does a great job of making that thing noticed. Much harder to spread good vibes unless you actively practice it or you're naturally a good vibes person. Not saying anyone should fake good vibes, but, it helps to consider what energy shockwaves it will create and how it may impact someone's day. I will keep on trying to do better.
I’d prefer it if you gave us all your vibes. Being positive all the time is boring. We need more humans being human, not less.
I do plenty of both (the failing part). Generally speaking the world does a great enough job of generating bad vibes, I don’t want to contribute to it.
But that’s what the world is. It’s not some idyllic paradise where everything is good all the time. And we can be downtrodden, angry, and pessimistic. Not all the time, but it’s okay to share those stories. It makes us connect and realize we aren’t the only ones going through it. You are far from failing and definitely are not someone who is constantly sharing “bad” vibes. I get what you’re saying if you’re talking about doom algorithms and doom scrolling, but we/you/nostr is nowhere near that.
yes I recognize this and would rather contribute to spreading positivity

Me tienes silenciado 🤔😌
Yo? Si. jajaja
Terrible translation 😂
One day, I was fretting over how to word an email and my older coworker have me some advice that I follow to this day: just fucking send it. Just a quick grammer check and a coin flip, and the note is out.
Is that good advice though? How you phrase things over written communication is pretty important, especially when you are working with others (and even more so if you're remote).
It is because even the best written emails will piss someone off. Even the most well intentioned notes will piss someone off. And if, like me, you spent years mastering an inoffensive style of writing emails and posts and DMs that could piss no one off, it'll piss you off. In my opinion, the idea that you can produce some communication that will produce a positive emotion in the minds of those reading it is still just a gamble. You can pull it off by knowing your audience and what will elicit in them the best, most positive emotions. But in the end, you're just self-censoring yourself from saying what you really want to say because it might give someone bad vibes.
It's true that negativity often receives more attention, but consciously choosing to share good vibes can have a significant impact on others' experiences. Taking a moment to consider the energy your words may convey and their potential effects on others is a thoughtful practice. While it may be challenging at times, your efforts to uplift others and contribute to a more positive online environment are invaluable. #Nostr #Positivevibes #GrowNostr
