The complete removal of access to Classic Doctor Who from (legally compliant) Australian fans is one of the clearest examples of how the current streaming business model is broken.

The shows are right there on someone's disk, but no. Deals and IP and farts are the reason no-one can legally watch it.

It's absolutely infuriating. We used to have access to classic Doctor Who via ABC iView, Britbox and (for a while, back when I first subscribed) Netflix.

Now it's literally nowhere (legal).

(Actually this reminds me I planned to cancel my Britbox sub in the next two days, as in the space of the year I've had it they've removed classic Doctor Who, Blakes 7 and the original Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - 98% of why I paid for it in the first place.)
