 Oh wow 🤩
 Wow 🤩💖💜
 wow!
I’ll set up a Timelapse when the sun goes down and see if we’re lucky this time 🤞
 That would be awesome.
The map says I should be visible from where I’m at but there’s a decent amount of clouds around 😅
 Dang.
 Wow 😲
 Wow!
 😍😍
 Looks unreal!
 This beaut too 🥹 https://i.nostr.build/BbcBFnsfNb0uxWbe.jpg
 Wow amazing Derek!
Artificially enhanced by iPhones. Wasn’t as exciting as I’d expect
It looked amazing with the naked eye too. And more importantly, I don't use an iPhone.
 So jealous.
 It's beautiful.
We don’t have anything like that in northern Ohio yet but it does look like I can see some faint shimmering to the north-east so maybe it’ll start up soon.
Ok it’s hopping around me now. What a difference a little time makes.
 Damn. Nice!
 This is real?

I thought these were AI generated.
No 😂 they are real. I took the family out and we all saw them. They were so pretty. Very bright here.
So cool!! I have to find a way to see them live. But we are not that high north.
You may get another chance tomorrow or even later tonight. And there's a chance that we'll see G5 extreme solar weather. If that's the case you'll be able to see it.
When are you coming up for NV?
North Virginia. I need to find a site that shows where they can be visible from.
Haha, sorry. I know you're from NoVA. I meant when are you coming up to Nostr Valley. Maybe you'll have a chance when your up here.
lol. Sorry that was a brain fart.

Traveling Saturday morning, and driving back at night.
 Gotcha.

If you're going to be awake for a while, check between 11pm and 2am. That's when they'll be at their maximum. I would guess that's you're highest chance if you are in an area with minimal light pollution.

We have a chance of seeing a comet Saturday evening 🥹

I can check! thanks for the info!!

Charging my cameras batteries 📷
"It'll be this fuzzy circle with a long tail stretching away from it," said Sally Brummel, planetarium manager at the Bell Museum in Minnesota.
 Comet
Tsuchinshan-Atlas
should be bright enough to see with the naked eye, but binoculars and telescopes will give a better view.
do we know how long it’s supposed to last?
They have already started fading here in Pennsylvania. Maybe it will get brighter later? I don't know. I'm not a space mechanic.
Apparently from 11pm-2am they might be the brightest.
You live in a great place for sky viewing. I was shocked to see some Aurora just south of Buffalo (a lot of light pollution around the lakes) while cruising up the 219 the other night.
 Truly 🥹
Wait can you see that with your eyes or is that your phone only? I just looked outside myself and saw haze, then took a picture and it looked somewhat similar.
It was very bright with my eyes, but more so with the phone. It did not disappoint with my eyes one bit though. It was much more than just a haze for us.
 wow. Incredible
 violet! \o/
