 Nonprofit structures (like signal) make a ton of sense for #Bitcoin too.

But I’m saying an individual entity or project as a company.

Like a lighting wallet, but set up as a nonprofit (again, see signal’s structure)

So not a foundation for bitcoin itself. But entities like @OpenSats and what you all are doing at HRF as well as individual bitcoin tools/projects, so they get needed revenue to operator, but can remove the transactions/for profit structure. Just a thought.

Also kind of like fediment, right? That’s a great example I think
