Gm Nostr fam 💜🌞 Today is busy day...laundry, changing blankets as it's getting colder and colder...also it's time for food stock - shopping, changing my water filters (They should arrive today), finishing my article to submit soon to the editor. It looks like a sunny day today...so will try to catch some sunlight on my skin.
--> Did you know that sunlight not only helps you to produce the hormone D (Yes, Vitamin D ist not a vitamin...it's actually a hormone your body produces)!
Sunlight also helps to regulate the circadian rhythm, also known as the internal clock. The circadian rhythm is the organism's ability to synchronize physiological processes to a period length of about 24 hours.
Sunlight acts on the photosensitive ganglion cells in the eye, which contain melanopsin. That's why it's so important not use sunglasses, that have UV filters!!!
Blue light disturbs the circadian rhythm and it's good to use some blue filter glasses when you are infront of a screen. Also blue light consumes your magnesium and magnesium is important for so many things in our system. For sleep (magnesium ist also a co-factor for producing melatonin together with tryptophan), for relaxation of nerves and muscles, for the immune system etc. etc... There is so much to say about all this...but for now just a few inputs 🤗

Have a great day 🌞🫂🍀⚡️
