A lot of folks are sharing the thing about Proud Boys getting more jail time because they didn't do plea deals. Though I loathe these defendants, the idea that the state punishes you for exercising your constitutional right to a trial is deeply fucked up.

 @3ba5878d never plea out, because you don't have any further avenues in the court. You can't take anything to a higher court.
