What echo chamber? 33,000+ npubs can currently openly interact through my Nostur WoT, which is up by 2000 since a few weeks ago as my follows and their follows increase, and I can easily see any of the others outside it as I choose. “As I choose” is the key here.
Seems like you just don't like that people can have different opinions about which solution is best for them. If so, you are in the wrong place! Check out mastodon.
By the way, i did both (i have a wot relay, a have a relay where i filtered out the spammers, and a i have a relay where i enforce NIP13 difficulty). I can choose what i want to see at any time by just switching relays. pretty cool, huh?
