It's an interesting point... to a point but when do we rise up against the word 'concept'..?

There's an idea (not a prevailing one but in development) in music that people separate being a musician and a content creator but it can feel a little 'snobby'. The "I'm writing proper songs, not content." thing

The biggest devaluing feature of music is that we, as (amateur) musicians, simply produce so much of it that it's almost impossible to describe. We need a term of reference.

Yeah, I think I've heard that distinction too

Me, though, I do not really want an overarching term of reference. I'm happy to do the extra bit of intellectual labor to call each thing by its name, even if it requires longer clauses ...
