i think of femininity/masculinity as vibes or energies. it's not necessarily about *what* you do, but the type of energy you do it with.
There's nothing wrong with pursuing a career that is associate with the gender opposite to your sex. You do you, and pursue the career that calls to you, or that makes the most sense to you for other reasons. If you're a masculine woman or an effeminate man, there's nothing wrong with that either. The problem is when people try to use authority to force women to be more masculine and men to be more femina in an attempt to eliminate statistical population level differences.
