 They were definitely faggots but only in the pejorative neonozzy biker gang sense not in the literal buttsex sense. They didn't diddle jessie they just killed his beaner girlfriend infront of him (okay maybe they weren't so bad after all). 

It was a decent crime drama and probably the last good show that was ever on television period, but people hype it up way too much.
