I know I personally want to build a few app that run inside notedeck: - A tab for the notebook app for tracking threads in an inbox/email-like fashion. Pin notes into your notebook for tracking - a tab for the nostrverse: a 2d visualization of your social graph I feel comfortable doing all this crazy stuff now because the local relay model is so efficient. Tightly integrated local relay makes all of these things actually doable. Just imagine if any installable app had access to this power 🤔
Good luck! I spent 10 years building micro apps before nostr. What you can do in year 10 is very different from what you can do in year 1. Be prepared to interate. The nostr NIP structure will need to be reworked quite alot to handle meta data and hyperlinks, but even without that you should be able to make useful things quickly. I'd suggest adding versions to the app meta data from 0.1 -> 0.x where x is large. Then a 1.0 model in, say, 2-3 years when you think it's perfect. But even that it will evolve.
I'd love a social graph visualization as well! Very cool idea all around
Every one will have three #nostr account - Work - relay controlled by the employer - personal - open social relays - paid or unpaid - secret - personal relay on your own machine ..
#nostrOS will be a fork of #ChromeOS - except you login with your nostr accounts - rather than google's .. The secret relay will be instantiated at first log in ..
Aaaaaaaaaand time. How long did it take before Nostr's Chrome was introduced? Fiatjaf had a nice try, but we all knew this was inevitable. Will, you can claim your bazillion dollars of VC money at the nice young lady at the desk near the end of the hall. Everyone else can go and find a new protocol to LARP on for a few years.

I think there are more than a few of us kicking around similar ideas. I am not entirely sure yet that nostr can do it, but it is directionally correct.
