@4dfae064 ouch. I think people have the idea that proprietary software is somehow good. I'm pretty sure that's only true in vanishingly few cases.
@d72d5211 I've always had a soft spot for Pegasus Mail.
@4dfae064 yeah, I used it in the old days, too. I'd consider the current 'de facto standard', MS Outlook, the poster child for horrible UI and UX.
@d72d5211 You like it when it arbitrarily changes the view without warning, but requires you to confirm you want to change it to your preferred view. Because everyone loves that. Up with "Hai, default language is US English. And no you cannot change"
@4dfae064 thankfully, I've never ever used MS Outlook. I have, however, been asked to support people (poor sods) who were forced to use it by institutional policy, created by incompetent managers.
