If Paris can do it, Auckland can do it.
I know, I know, as soon as I write these words the "no can do" people will pour into the comments with their grey outlooks, but it's as simple as setting a deadline and sticking to it.
Carbon aside, raw diesel smoke is worse for your health than breathing second-hand cigarette smoke. 
There's no 'upside' to this filthy petrofuel.
It's time to ban smoking. For our children's sake.
