We are happy to announce testing of Bitcoin Knots v25.1 has completed successfully, and is now deployed to production. Among other improvements, this upgrade fixes this long-standing vulnerability exploited by modern spammers. As a result, our blocks will now include many more real transactions and help to bring an end to the DoS attack being performed on the #Bitcoin network.
So, in addition to our already-established benefits (transparency, non-custodial, and permissionless), we now also offer honest miners the first easy option to contribute toward blocks full of real transactions, effectively a several times larger block size in terms of transaction confirmations, without actually making the blocks any larger.

(censorship)
Please make them stop censoring all the so-called spam! We shouldn't have to wait an additional ~10 minutes for a different pool to find the next block so we can have masterpieces like this forever inscribed to the blockchain!

Let the miners duke it out. Ordinal spam can't last forever with the fees they're paying. Inscription holders who think their shit is valuable will get rekt this cycle and we'll all move on.
Oh, I 100% think this garbage is going to be a fad and loads of folks who bought into it will get rekt.
I am also 100% fine with OCEAN deciding not to include this junk in any blocks they mine, particularly given that all the other pools are still going to include them.
However, I said this over on the former bird app earlier today, and it still applies here:
Bitcoin is about separating money from state.
NFTs are about separating fools from their money.
Best we discourage mixing the two.
I think it's cool that they're trying it out too and actually doing something besides complaining about it.
I want to see if it stops with filtering out ordinal spam or continues on to pick and choose with legit transactions, which is what my original note was about. Hopefully not.
The network inherently “censors”because of the block size limit *and* the “appropriate” choice to keep the network decentralized. There have been value judgments from the beginning that are exclusionary. You don’t like them? Just fork or use something else.
It is censorship, no other word to define this action of deliberately choose transactions even if they pay higher fees
Thank you for implementing a fix for this vulnerability.
Your claims are fraudulant
Smells fishy. And Luke is on record as viewing dogs as food. I don’t trust a man that doesn’t love dogs. I just don’t.
I can't seem to get this pool going with Braiins OS I need someone to do a more thorough tutorial.
Can miners in the OCEAN pool choose between censoring these transactions or earning more fees?
Remember that if this is a unilateral decision by OCEAN, this pool is no different from the other one that unilaterally decided to return the 83 BTC earned as fees
