I tried Parler, Mastadon, and Gettr. They all seemed like poor substitutes for Twitter and I lost interest within days to weeks. 

Nostr is different. 

 This does have more potential 

 Twitter addicts you with the algos.  Floods the brain with dopamine.  Initially, you may miss it, but in time, Valhalla is the reward. 

 I feel pretty flooded during my nostr sessions.
