 3 years before we bought an apartment 
Now 7 years later I’m getting married to my best friend 

 Married since 44 years now. Met with 15. My wife was allowed to live in my parents house with 16,5. Married with 18. Never regret it.💜💕

 We knew at 2 years, but we were 18, so we waited a couple more years. 

 5 years but was deployed one of those years or it probably would’ve been 4 years. 

 Moved in after year 1, was supposed to get married year 4 but the pandemic delayed our wedding.

 Formally engaged after 2 months and then he moved in and we were married 10 months later.

So, about the same. 

 We dated for 5 years. Knew each other a little for years before. Personally I say within a year you should be able to figure out if you're compatible, knowing if you're ready for marriage is a different thing. I think we knew pretty early on, but gotta let the initial love bug wear off a bit and get into some disagreements to really figure it out.

We'd likely would have gotten married earlier if I'd felt better about financial things, but eventually realized that would always be a concern. Looking back it was still good to take the time to get to know each other, but worrying about financials and details should not hold you back if you're willing to improve yourself and move onward and upward. Taking on life's challenges together is better.

It was a long evening. 

 Within 3 months. We travelled internationally together on a long trip and that worked out, so we knew it would work.

 We also lived together in a 350 square foot studio apartment for 5 years before upgrading to a one bedroom. 

 Oh, man! Same happened when I came to the USA. I used to rent $700 studio in one of the 💀 areas 😅 

 We moved in together around a year. Right before that we traveled for about a month outside the country. We married after about 3 years of being together. Been married 12 now. Wouldn't do it any other way.  

 Was in love immediately. Engaged after 6 months, then moved in together, married after one year 

 I'm alone😭
