@CARLA and I are rewatching LOST after many years and we both just realized that Toranaga sama is in it.

Now, I would like to see a LOST x SHOGUN crossover episode.

That is all. https://i.nostr.build/qiH3729TSJa69A38.jpg
My husband and I got like a third of the way into Shogan since it was so well-rated, but we struggled with it a bit. There were a handful of frustrating things that seemed unrealistic. I keep meaning to get back into it.
 +1

It’s definitely a show that I want to finish, but I’ve found every few episodes it loses my interest, just enough to not “need” to come back. That said, it’s also cool af
 lucky man you have 😉
The book was fantastic, maybe try that? Still remember it all these years later.
I've read the book but haven't watched the show. Great book!
Did yall check out Horizon? Similarly well regarded but I struggled through. Beautifully filmed. Story was hard to follow.
I can't speak to the realism of the show or the book, but the book was a great read. Even romantic. My husband and I still say "thou" to each other in place of "I love you."
You should read Clavell's books. The Hong Kong ones are kinda linked together. My face was definitely King Rat (which they did make a movie of back in 1965 that was well regarded).

Hopefully they redo more of his books into quality films/series.
Bro call netflix now. they will pay you for that idea
Interesting Cz I am also rewatching Lost but still in S1. Toranaga is a legend & a crossover episode would steal a ton of eyeballs away from every other show
 I recently started watching Lost…😂
When someone starts episode 1 of a classic series:

Loved the James Clavell novel, it's one of my all-time favourite books
Shōgun https://g.co/kgs/cx4T5ig
I still consider myself a Lost expert. I have to constantly explain things to people who watch it. I miss that show a great deal.
 Rost
Watching it with my daughter now. I’m surprised by how good it still is. I always figured I liked it so much because wasn’t a lot of good series back then. But it holds up pretty well.
Having a young kid and finding time to watch a 6-season series... what's your secret?!
I’ve somehow managed to watch LOST three times in its entirety 😅
I don't think he was in Shogun. Unless he was some kid in the background. That miniseries was on when I was kid and I'm old.
Great actor but the show itself was already long "lost" by that point
Oooh I would love to watch LOST for the first time again… 😄
