It would require downloading a lot of data first of all (Coracle is 100% client-side). It would also be easily gamed without some kind of web of trust bootstrapping, although that would be doable (but also even more computationally intensive). It also allows people who white-label coracle to tailor the recommendations to their users.

Not a bad idea. Relay-based feeds would make that reasonably easy if there are places that curate non-bitcoin stuff (doing it client side would be expensive)
