Thanks! Any recommendations on which federations to join to try this out? I'm sensing some confusion in myself (others too?) regarding ecash. Per their respective protocol descriptions, both Cashu and Fedimint are Chaumian ecash protocols. They are not, however, interoperable, and their mints work in different ways. Fedimint relies on a federation model; Cashu does not.

 Most of us dont know how to verify it (probably not possible for normal person) and there is a lot of confusion and yet it works 😂 For now im taking it as cool custodial wallets that will rug me eventually. Im trusting fedi with a little higher amounts than cashu, but Im still as confused as you are on both
