the grant-driven in-group #nostr dev culture is not producing commercial results nor an increase in userbase for nostr
it is inevitable that someone is going to build something that interops with the spec as it is and makes reasonable, backwards compatible changes that combined with effective marketing and a business model that is by its nature distributed will eventually see this sadly very commie looking culture obsoleted
if i was a VC in nostr i would not be giving any money to anyone without a business plan to use their software as part of a bigger plan
that would change the entire face of the network and lead to actual new, retained userbase
