Trans rights are unsustainable regardless of what perspective you take.
Let's pretend for a moment that trans women are "women" and thus vulnerable and should be protected from men. Let's define "trans rights" as the right to self-id without question (as trans people demand it to be.)

What stops a "cis" man from pretending to be a trans woman in order to gain access to their spaces and commit atrocities? All he has to say "I'm trans," and you must believe it whether HE believes it or not. 

 Some of us have been cancelled for saying just that.
