10 relays? Sounds decentralized to me unless they’re all run by the same person/entity. How many do you suggest are needed to actually be decentralized?
10 twitters running on the same protocol located in different countries/continents is rather decentralized

10 engineers running $5 vps for free will shut down with the first governmental subpoena (whichever govt it is)

So the answer is - “rather millions”
Ok so what about the top 10 nostr relays, which don’t fit that description? I’ve seen your posts before and you’re a fairly pessimistic overreacting little bitch so I don’t expect a fair answer
So what about them? They shutdown as soon as first complaint is filed. In reality they shutdown much earlier because actual traffic from a real social network does not fit into $5 vps

I’m just stating facts, sorry if I’m ruining your hopium, I honestly hope this outbox will fix this, btw, is it here with us in the room right now?
Just as I expected. A non-answer. Bye bitch
You asked a single question which I’ve answered in the simplest form possible. If you have another answer, ask it, this is how it works, when you don’t live hopium but real life
THIS IS ACTUALLY THE BITCH OVERREACTION.

DISREGARD FOR DISSENTING OPINIONS IS FOR CHILDREN.
When Nostr relay are placed behind TOR connections only the whole point of sending a subbpoena to a hosted becomes mute, right ?

 i use fren relays also/local & other
I run a relay that I can’t use because Primal won’t let me connect to it. They demand a relay address type that my private relay doesn’t match. The developers of the Nostr clients need to understand that they are the first line of defense of keeping users from developing UX habits that lead right back to centralization.
My thought was that I could run a private relay, use it as my only relay, and never have it delete my content, I own my content, my followers get my content there. Is this right? Or am I missing details of how the relays interact to facilitate user interactions?
Having more than 1 relay makes Nostr strictly better than legacy social media
