If the person is followed by someone you follow you will see it. If no one in the WoT is following I don’t think you will. You can also toggle this on and off
This works well for me. My Nostur WoT currently allows over 33,000 npubs to openly interact with me. Easy enough to toggle off or use the “see more” feature if someone new replies.

apparently so. it's not difficult to imagine who ever is behind to circumvent this solution lol. for the time being it works
Definitely a clever way to block them. You just put in the pfp link into your mute words?
