 Yep, correct translation for amphibian but incorrect identification. Your photo shows either Laudakia cypriaca (Cyprus Rock Agama) or Laudakia stellio (Starred Agama) - both lizards of the taxonomic class Reptilia (not Amphibia). It’s your home reptilian! 🙂 A beautiful creature! 👍🏼
