Am a lonely bitcoiner in my network of friends & family. It's honestly driving me kinda nuts. I feel like I'm staring at an alien spaceship sent here to save us, but I'm the only one who gives a damn. Or that I'm the only one who can see it altogether. Nobody cares. GF doesn't care. Parents don't care. Brothers don't care. I know I need to be patient, but the halvening is coming. And I can feel the regret reaching back in time slapping me in the face. I'm losing my mind.

Yup! I totally agree. No one in my circle gets it. Nostr helps. I only just found out a coworker is a bitcoiner on this business trip and it’s been cool and refreshing to have conversations IRL. (It’s been a lonely 3yrs in BTC without people. Podcasts help too!

I often feel like this too. Everything. The fourth turning, bitcoin, so much of this political nonsense. It’s like….really? None of you see what’s happening?????????? Think that’s why I’m so active on Nostr. Refuge in a community where people have similar thoughts. I guess that’s an echo chamber but it doesn’t really seem like anyone here perpetuates anything other than self reliance, resilience, prosperity, etc..

I tried the same thing for years with regards to food. The results of which are staring them right in the face and they still couldn’t care less. They even mock me when it comes to not indulging in their sugar rituals. There is nothing you can do. It’s best to make peace with this and just move on with your life. The sooner you can, the more calm, relaxed, and better off you will be.

I think it’s part of every bitcoiner’s journey to feel a little lonely, like nobody’s listening, like you’re the crazy one… But once you accept that it’s not your responsibility to get people to open their eyes to the harsh reality they’re living in and to the solution that is Bitcoin, you begin to feel calm. Once people see the peace and optimism in you while they’re sinking, they’ll start asking question. It’s all a matter of time. In the meantime, keep hanging out on Nostr, attend bitcoin meetups and conferences and make as many bitcoiner friends as possible. PV 🤙☺️

Welcome to the last 12+ years of my life. Eventually most still won't listen or understand, but they will start saying that they WISH they had listened. And when you tell them to buy now they still won't. A few might wake up though & conferences are great for meeting good people 😊

Stack in silence and let the results do the talking. Most people simply aren’t built to compound capital, which is partly why there’s such a large amount of people with no assets, no savings, mountain of debt, etc. We like to shit on the system for being what it is, but guess what, there’s a lot of people that suck at money too, and the system just turns them from a - to a + on their balance sheet, albeit in an unethical way.

Just watch you’ll look like an investing wizard to these people in a year or two. Just stay humble and keep stacking sats! 🫂 Also if you’re feeling alone IRL go to Bitcoin meet ups, usually cool like minded people at those

for the most part, it's a great razor for deciding who you want to have as friends. another one that is good is learning about cult brainwashing techniques, hypnosis, mind control and psychological manipulation. once you see that doozy you'll be quite happy to not have many social connections anymore, and bitcoiners are mostly not manipulators, especially not the ones you meet irl at meetups. the scummy ones are mostly online harvesting attention.

lmao same i started talking about it in 2016. Crazy stares every time. But whatever problems friends/family kept bringing up would always find a way to weave in bitcoin. Crazy looks starting to turn to inquisitive ones but not quite all the way there

it often happens to someone who is new to Bitcoin and is very excited, Ive seen that many times (Ive made this mistake myself) .... everyone needs a few/or more touch points .... then they may get into Bitcoin rabbit hole Orange pilling doesnt work if the other party isnt interested and its not your job to make them interested/curious 😉.....
