 It's no show of respect. It's self-preservation. Paul knows how boxing fans feel about Tyson, and hitting him in this geriatric condition will only drive more people to hate Paul. This is why this was such a dumb fight. There's no real way for Paul to win. If he wins, he's hated for beating up on legand way past his prime. If he loses, he lost to senior citizen. Tyson, on the other hand, is doing this purely for the payday. He has nothing to prove, and will be a winner no matter the outcome. Who cares if he doesn't beat the dude who's 30 years younger than him? He's waking away with millions.  

 That too but it seems he has genuine respect for him, like everyone else. 

 I felt this too 🫂 just hurts cos felt like the bully from Karate Kid won, but he surprised me with the respect and humility he showed. I might have been wrong about him, my bad.

 I don't think anyone pays boxers as good as the Paul brothers do. They may act like jackasses sometimes, but they play their athletes good. They're doing a good job with their boxing brand. 

 And maybe someday Jake will actually fight a competent, professional boxer. Maybe.

 He does not. He fights people who come out of retirement for a payday, and professional athletes and MMA fighters with no background or professional in experience boxing.
