Oh yeah time for northern winter prep :/ I usually recommend a good wax job if your paint is decent and you have the time. Helps with the winter sun, and of course the snow/ice and treatments if you wash it frequently enough in the winter. I got a good wax on a few weeks ago, I just want to get a spray on top coat while it's warm.
I do have some undercarriage work to do soon. I should wax. The paint is pretty faded, but I knew that when I bought it. But wax would help over the winter.
What do you use? I'm so useless with exterior paint care... 😅
I've always just done the little tub of Turtle Wax paste you can get wherever. I did a full buff and polish a few years ago which you can only do while you still have clear coat because a polish removes material. Wax just rub in by hand with the applicator, I used to use the foam pad on the buffer but it makes a mess and I was lazy to hand applicator works.
I think this is what it looks like now. Mine tub is pretty old.
