With bitcoin only exchange without derivatives referrals is nothing wrong in my opinion if you advise to not hold bitcoin on the exchange and you use the exchange also yourself. 

 If you mean referrals for derivative/shitcoin exchanges like bybit and binance for example. I FULLY AGREE
