 Problem is, everyone I tell about Nostr takes a look and says “meh it’s full of crypto-bros”. Perhaps domain-specific relays would help?

 Only when we see more developers from outside the bitcoin and crypto sectors, will we likely see more innovations for mass adoption. 

However, the zap stuff is essential for nostr now, but non-crypto users or even non-crypto developers may initially struggle to understand the concept.
