89: Do your characters believe in happy endings?

Yes, so far most of them are an optimistic bunch, it keeps them fighting. Of course they have doubts from time to time but if they didn't believe that they could win, they might as well stop now and lie down, belly-up. Even if they were defeated they'd chose to do resistance/partisan fighting. 
Of course this could change, people aren't made of stone and wars can break them.
