So I've been watching a bit of MSNBC and it is grim.

Nicolle Wallace is very clearly working with COVID. They're keeping her face off camera whenever, but you can tell she's exhausted and she's coughing very loudly over everybody else talking.

On Chris Hayes' show, there was also a ton of off camera coughing from one of the guests yesterday. 

 TV networks have an audio delay to deal with coughing, right?

However many segments in each block that they can cut out without anybody noticing.

How bad does it have to be for them to need to call in sick hosts and pundits, and not be able to edit it out.
