Just don't remove any tags unless it's being worn. If any of the items are Cat & Jack from Target, they'll exchange those with zero question. They also take back things if that brand your kids have outgrown and give you store credit. 
Anything I couldn't return that we didn't use, I regifted. Lol.  

 oh man, I wish I knew this yesterday 😅 I already took the tags off to give the clothes a wash. 

but.. this means that I can buy a few more as backups! thanks for the tip 👍
