 @a0b872c9 they do but why use the systems we already have when metadata exists. the PRS and PPL can be replaced with software easily. the money should just go to whatever is playing.

 @a0b872c9 by cultural do you mean large business trying to protect its interest ? im not sure what you mean. economically it makes sense for the artists. its a no brainer. just waiting for someone to write the software in a way i can support (ie decentralised database)

 @a0b872c9 mmm yeh dumb artists will be a problem up until they figure out how much they could have made i suppose. i think one clever PR campaign could ruin them tbh. get spotify on board and they are dead.
