This is Blackie. She is the only chicken i have named, and i named her because she is the troublemaker of the flock. She is the smallest one, the sweetest one, and the one that walks right through the netting of the run. She can do this because she's small enough. I keep waiting for her to get bigger so she cant fit through the netting, but starting to think she's just gonna be a runt. So now i go outside every few hours to make sure Blackie isnt in trouble. Do you have enough fence to double it up? I saw billy bond of perma pastures farm doing this in his chicken tractor on steroids until the chickens were big. This made sure they were getting a shock
No, but i've been thinking i should install another layer of fencing, or something.
This is so coincidental! We have an adoptive dog we named “Whitey.” He travels 3km away from his home to the property and sometimes spends hours with us and once overnight too! He definitely beats to his own drum as he does what he wants, where he wants, when he wants! 🤣
