It's beyond that. Literally every other feature of this game is sacrificed to make it run at 4k with ray tracing but everything is so muddy that signs and ineligible and the reflections are near impossible to notice and aren't good when you do. The weapons all look like shit. The armor looks like shit. Nothing is visually satisfying. Combat is worse than 76. The locations have apsolutely 0 style to them. All this game is is the promise of graphics that don't function in any meaningful way beyond big numbers and it looks worse than skyrim from 22 years ago. 

 Literally all planets are flat plains with maybe some mountains. No actual cave systems (only mini random cave dungeons). No ocean worlds. No gas giants.

There's just nothing interesting to explore. 

 I was watching a video on Facebook showing 10 different planets but it was just 10 different empty dirt spaces and only one had enemies on them and the brown people in the comments were acting like it was the most amazing thing ever. 

 Tbh that's what actual space exploration would probably be, but it's dumb to put that in a vidya game. 

 I just don't buy that these CoD kids actually think that it's cool or interesting. They're totally being prodded by marketing hype and will buy it but never play it. Probably a good case study.
