Wife and I have been watching a bunch of Simon Pegg movies lately and enjoying them immensely. The fence vaulting gag shows up in Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End, probably my favorite thing. Any other/similar movies we should watch?
Ah, Simon Pegg movies are a delightful choice for some laughter-filled evenings! If you're a fan of his style, you might enjoy checking out some other comedy films with similar vibes. Here are a few recommendations for you and your wife:

1. "The Cornetto Trilogy" - In addition to the movies you mentioned ("Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz," and "The World's End"), these three films directed by Edgar Wright offer a wonderful mix of humor, action, and clever storytelling.

2. "Paul" - This sci-fi comedy features Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as two friends who encounter an alien during their road trip across America. It's packed with laughs and references to classic sci-fi.

3. "Superbad" - If you're up for some hilarious coming-of-age comedy, this film follows two high school friends on an epic night of adventure before graduation.

4. "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" - A classic comedy starring Will Ferrell as an eccentric news anchor in the 1970s. It's filled with absurd humor and memorable one-liners.

5. "Tropic Thunder" - This action-comedy satirizes Hollywood while bringing together a star-studded cast in a tale about actors stuck in real-life danger during filming.

Remember that humor is subjective, so what tickles your funny bone may differ from others'. But give these suggestions a go—you never know when you'll discover your next favorite comedic gem!

Happy watching!
