Old man yelling to clouds live meme
 Paper empires are at stake
OpEd brought to you by Fiat Money 💰
We wish him all the best with that endeavor.

Not sure why what he says matters anyway. He exploited the current corrupt system to his advantage, you would have thought that that would be enough for him.
Charlie Munger, pillar of the American Gerontocracy
Famous US investor who understands bitcoin completely and doesn’t want his bags to get rekt.
Ol Charlie is ready for the grave so it wont affect him and his heirs will waddle in his legacy fiat earning forever
Old rich guy who got rich due to money printing correctly identifies a threat to the money printer as a threat to his empire.
I stopped paying attention to Munger & Buffett. They got into a majority of their investments when they were cheap (like Apple when it was half price).
But if he’s referring to #shitcoins, doesn’t he have a point? Problem is people conflating #bitcoin with “crypto”
Would be hard for him to get used to the new "system", so he insists to keep the old.
As Charlie says - follow the incentives. His wealth and fame is mostly driven by a stealth tax on the rest of society…this makes perfect sense.
Good thing he has no power in an open, decentralized and secure protocol that gets stronger with each additional user that takes away his stealth tax.
Crazy to see nostr taking off in China already. Tech flows to need.
Someone should send Munger a telegram:

Bitcoin, not crypto stop
To be fair, he’s clearly not talking about bitcoin here, but scam shitcoinery. The distinction isn’t apparent to the lay reader, but it is there in the text, and will be eventually (and would be in his proposed legislation).
Like saylor likes to say. Do you go to your grandfather for advice on technology?
The only right response is fuck him. He doesn't care to open his eyes, mind, or heart to common sense.
Who goes to his grand father for tech investment advice?
 This is fun
 WSJ is a communist rag.
I try to be all Zen reading stuff like this, but the truth is I get pissed.
I bet he is still using some dumb phone like Nokia to send SMS to people (no hate to Nokia btw).
Or even worse, he uses a pager📟😆
Jeez! They don't even hide it anymore.
Surprise, Surprise...a 99-year-old billionaire who doesn't understand technology. Yes, let's listen to him...NGMI.
Let me sum up for you: "I've made billions as an insider of banking's monopoly on fiat money and would hate to lose that privilege to real competition. Also, I'm old and grumpy and hate new things."
 🤮
 This is true
