Global #Bitcoin adoption won’t come from everyone learning about it and understanding it’s unique monetary properties. It will happen as the Elites are incentivized to deem it as socially acceptable.
How so? If anything elites are disincentivised to push adoption.
Yes, currently. Once their bags are full it will be a different story tho.
I guess its a discussion you can have wether or the elites will fill their bags first (or mass adoption will drive broader holding). However I'd argue when the elites packed their bags there won't be MUCH more space above price wise. We'd be pretty much right before hyperbitcoinisation. Real adoption (payments, internet, groceries, resources,... ) is a different story.
You could be right. But it doesn’t necessarily need to be all the elites. Take BlackRock for example. They are now incentives to change the narrative on bitcoin since they are in a position to gain financially. I guess my point is that social acceptance is vastly more important for normies to adopt/accept bitcoin as “valid”. Much more so than thinking critically for themselves and coming to their own conclusion.

I like that point. #Bitcoin being a naturally contrarian thing pulls a certain kind of people in. From within we tend to forget that most people are driven by peer dynamics. Especially concerning things they lack understanding.

I have family members that would only consider it when the state run television tells them to.
Anyways, someone needs to fo soyence (tm) on how the venn diagram looks like between "elites" and cantillionaires. I'd say the overlap is strong but they're definitely not synonymous. Also the question is whether cantillionaires are knowledgeable on the implications on Bitcoin or is their animosity purely instinctual (Von Der Legende being the best example).
