I only use Chrome for Google services and occasionally some web debugging. Google removed their Don't Be Evil motto many many years ago. This move is unsurprising. I wouldn't trust their Pixel hardware either ideally, but that's needed for GrapheneOS.

 Is chromium any better?
My guess is that the bad stuff is in Chrome not in Chromium. But haven't checked, and you never know...
It is not in Chromium. Brave is even better with regards to privacy.
Oh yeah. I just upgraded to win 10. So I can use brave again. 👍

It's very ironic, we have to buy hardware from the evil empire in order to free ourselves from the evil empires software... Ohh boy..

I wish GrapheneOS starts supporting non-Google hqrdware too..
We wish non-Google hardware would match or beat Google hardware with full support of alternate OS having access to it. Therefore supporting us to support them.
