We don't want this nostr logo
A small grp that wanna hang onto the power they have left, dont want this logo. Imo, because they didn't have anything to do with it and one of them didn't make it. How does an animal native to Africa relate to the nostr protocol? It doesn't and makes no sense. At all. Wait until devs and their buddy buddies realize being a dev here is similar to being government and when you don't listen to what the people want, you flop. Choose your side wisely.
In the same way an animal largely native to the southern hemisphere relates to Linux. It’s a mascot. A symbol, plus it’s a play on 80% of the NOSTR acronym.
When did bitcoiners stop pushing for growth and change? Oh, when it makes one of their ideas or sats used obsolete and they wanna hang onto old habits like a drug addict does out of selfish interests. A funny ostrich logo has a lower chance of being socially accepted en mass. Not my opinion, fact. Look at any other social bar on websites.
Do you see any funny looking animal logos even searching Google? No. I like the LOOK of the Ostrich logo better, but when it comes to acceptance and getting others peoples toes in the nostr doorframe, an ostrich logo is not the way.
