It looks really good and I love the idea of copper on the outsole for electrical discharge. But I worry that in the event of a lightning strike, lightning often looks for the path of least resistance to the ground, and a copper plug could, in theory, act as that pathway. I had 2 pairs of ESD shoes and it used conductive rubber and conductive plastic at its sole - but sometimes they do add metallic particle - hence I presume there can be some composition of metal and it is still safe, but I don't know how much. In theory the shoes feel like an ideal pair of mules but I worry you might risk yourself esp during stormy weather. Would you be able to check with them first ?
