Even a small amount of cheating in a democratic election is unacceptable. Why be an apologist for a process that is unauditable by design, and which can easily be remedied? The solution is simple: Require that voting take place in person, with ID, on Election Day, using paper ballots. https://m.primal.net/LqVn.jpg
We live in a time where people carry around digital vax certificates, ID and (soon) CBDC but we cannot have a digital and tamperproof election system with real-time polling data and immediate polling results? When you ask why you get "because not everyone owns a smartphone" - odd.
Digital ID ✔️ Digital vax certificates ✔️ Central bank digital currencies ✔️ Digital carbon credits ✔️ Digital and tamperproof election system with real-time polling data and immediate election results ❌ No, elections aren't rigged. Trust me bruh! nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqx7n9gux57lx76yt8hrufq80cgwdj34586kpfwjt57p543m6y0nfqqsggqlg76kr0wr2gy3seg2apsf8rlwpwf9ckv659lkwxgkdz0uzwcqswgatd
I posted this on X and got a text from a friend with a degree in Political Science. He proceeded to lecture and debate me. https://m.primal.net/LqWC.jpg
Nearly every American supports voter ID. It is only the regime that desires to stay in power by any means necessary that opposes it.
And those paper ballots should be required to be securely stored for a period after the election (90-180 days) for auditability. Despite all the wonderful advances in technology, some things should remain analogue, and voting is one of those. nostr:nevent1qqsggqlg76kr0wr2gy3seg2apsf8rlwpwf9ckv659lkwxgkdz0uzwcqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsygqm6v4rs6nmummg3v7u03yqalppek2xksl2c996fwncxjk80g37dypsgqqqqqqsjvv9yx
Does anyone find it ironic that when we had only paper ballots, we usually got the results by the next day? Now that we have electronic voting, that should make the results available the moment the election is over, it now takes weeks to get results. It makes zero sense unless there is funny business going on for weeks to get the results desired. It also seems insane that most states seem to have voting for a month or more. Of course going to a high percentage of mail-in votes makes it so easy to commit fraud if a person has no morals or believes their ends justifies the means. At this point, I have doubts that Trump winning by more than 10% will lead to him becoming president. None of the problems from 4 years ago has been fixed and they've come up with new means of fraud. When those in charge of the election and law enforcement are in on the fraud, there is no recourse available to those who have been disenfranchised by illegal votes and outright fraud.
If you're going to make it an in-person requirement, then this whole 40-hour work week needs to go for that time period. We either treat this correctly and allow the process to work, or we ignore it and continue to let half of the voice of our country's future be left on that table.
