I have been very close to bull sharks.  There is a dive site off the coast of Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico where, in January, the female bull sharks congregate before giving birth.  You can drop down to 85 feet of water holding on to a mooring chain in fairly swift current to see them.  They frequently swim right up to the divers.

 That sounds awesome! I’ll have to look into that! This dive was to a natural cleaning station where the bulls congregate. Was about 80 ft depth as well.
