So were you having OBE? (Outer Body Experiences) - One way to test if you're OBE lucid dreaming apparently is to get someone else to place objects in places that the 3rd person could only see. 

Either way... sounds interesting. 

 I don't think it was an out of body experience. I was in a location that I guess I could consider a reoccurring dream because I've had several dreams in this particular backyard.
