I already removed the battery and the node is already back up and running.

Currently looking on eBay for a replacement battery.

 Ordered! It just needs to last long enough to gracefully shutdown the system and not explode. The bar is low. 

 My 2018 MacBook is “nearing” end of life. Screen went black (prolly loose connection) a few weeks ago, battery is dead, and case is a “bit” swollen (prolly battery).

I’m shopping for a replacement … but to run Linux for the “first” time. I’m taking the plunge. Suggestions?  

 system76 lemur laptop has thermal management issues. Not sure the rest of their machines. 

 I used to have fack mounted servers and a rack and ups and rack mounted switch 🥹 This was many, many years ago. I've scaled down a lot. 

 It happens. I still have this equipment although I upgraded and was able to downsize physically, but an upgrade in performance! This rack was fun and cheap, I knew a guy in government auctions. Most of that equipment came from Alphabet agencies. 

Ill have to list some of this old stuff soon. I think we are "fairly" close to each other if you know anyone that is interested :) I'd like to see it back in action.
