What is that water plate? That doesn't look like a hydro model.
Keen eye. You’re right, it’s a standard j pro that I outfitted with a water jacket from Zeus mining.
That is awesome. I have a plan to use an s9 as a fishtank heater and those heat exchanger plates will be much cleaner and less space used than the submerged miner with a radiator also submerged heat exchange system I was planning to build. Might even end up cheaper. Thanks so much for answering.
I’m liking water cooling over immersion. Something about messing with hot oil that just feels like too much. Zeus might have water block kits for s9s.
The immersion also made me hesitate, part of why the fish tank project is stalled at idea and design phase. This will get it moving again. They do have kits for the s9. I'd use something more efficient but any more efficient hash board would also be way too many watts of heat for the application. Even the s9 will only be a single hash board for a 55 gallon tank.
Looking forward to hearing how it goes!
