#introduction Hello old and new friends!  I write and edit a newsletter for DeepLearning.AI called The Batch that rounds up the week's news in AI and ML. My multi-year newsletter about Amazon will be archived soon. I used to write for Wired, The Verge, & Adweek, and I often guest-host for Kottke. I have a degrees in math, philosophy, and literature, and am into humanities, science, and all things nerdy (including sports). I was born in Detroit and live with my wife @31deff00 in Philadelphia.
